Part 1. Why are “minerals” so important?
“Can’t it be food?” “My child is no longer irritated” “Not just my child, but I am less irritated” “I have better bowel movements” This is a surprise opinion from a family who tried
to” mineralize “even a little on their usual meals.
What kind of nutrients are minerals? Minerals are more than 100 kinds of elements, including the well-known calcium and iron, as well as zinc, copper, magnesium, and potassium. It is one of the five major nutrients along with proteins, fats, carbohydrates, and vitamins.
Although its content is only about 5% in the body, it is a very important nutrient that affects our health, such as calcium for strong bones, iron for anemia prevention, and zinc for dysgeusia.
Not only does it help build and condition the body, but it is also deeply involved in the state of mind, such as relieving irritation, and it is known that it acts like a “control tower” for the body and mind.
Despite the fact that minerals play an important role in influencing the state of mind, in fact, they are greatly lacking in modern diets. It is a nutrient that must be properly taken for the stability of children’s minds and to make up for the lack of modern food.
What kind of food will it be included in? Small fish such as dried sardines, seaweed such as seaweed and wakame seaweed, beans such as natto and tofu, vegetables such as Japanese mustard spinach and dried daikon radish, dried foods, sesame, etc. are included in various ingredients. Easy-to-eat mineral furikake, miso soup, side dishes with plenty of vegetables, etc. are frequently appearing in Rita School lunches. First of all, try to incorporate mineral ingredients at home.
